The time has come! Sweater weather is here and the leaves are changing. I love this time of year and, to make things better, I have finally received my Fall FabFitFun subscription box. I loved all of the products that I received last season in the summer box, so I was so excited about finding out about the products this season. So, let's see what we got!
First Look!

I like to give recognition to the box artist so this season the artist is Yelena Bryskenkova. According to the box's accompanying guide, she is originally from Russia, but grew up in America and works in New York as an illustrator. The box is a representation of her own artwork that is strongly inspired by Eastern European art. So, props to Yelena on this beautiful fall box design.

About a month ago, I was chosen as a select member so I was able to choose specifics of my box including colours and certain products and the types. This season's products are worth a total value of $377 - $392 (dependent on specific products). So, let's start with fashion.
(1) Mer-Sea & Co. Scarf - 98$ (2) B-Low the Belt: Mia Belt - 55$

The scarf is from Mer-Sea & CO. It is make from 100% polyester knit and the company has teamed up with water.org, a charity whose mission is to make clean water available in developing countries. Mer-Sea is also a company that aims to create cruelty-free and vegan products.
I was able to choose the colour as a select member, so I chose grey because I thought it was easiest to integrade into my wardrobe. It feels like a sin to wear this scarf. I'm not going to lie, $98 is quite expensive for a scarf, so I had higher hopes for this scarf. I wore it drape style over a black tank top and leggings; I thought I looked super cute. Unfortunately, the moment I took the scarf off, I was covered in fluff. I was so bummed! Of course, it isn't really washable or if it is I would be afraid that it would cover my clothes in little fluff pieces. I haven't attempted to wash it yet, but maybe I'll give it a go because it would be a great acessory for the fall weather.
The other fashion piece I got was one that I got to choose. I was able to choose between a belt or a Cable Knit Beanie designed by The JetSet Diaries. I'm not a big hat wearer, so I chose the belt. The belt is made of synthetic leather with a golden hardware buckle. Sadly, my apartment is quite damp, so I think because of that the dampness begun to eat away at the hardware belt ... or it could just be the buckles design. Anyways, it's not a crisp metal look, but you can only see it if you're looking for it so that's not too bad. I'll still wear it.
Next up ... let's dive into Health and Fitness.
(1) Private Party Gym Bag - $59 (2) Mytagalongs Hot & Cold Gel Pack - $15

I was able to choose the saying that I wanted imprinted on my bag. I chose "Will Workout for Cupcakes" which I thought was the most accurate representation of my fitness level and overall active life. This cute gym bag is a denim wash with cotton handles and is currently my bag for ... all of my makeup and styling products.
The other product was a gel pack, which is always an amazing product to have around the house, especially during those crampy times of the month. Nothing feels better than a warm compress on your lower abdomen when you have cramps. Another use for this gel pack is for aching muscles. In my field of work I'm prone to repetitive strain, so it's good to use that to soothe the aches and pains that are associated with my daily work life.
Before I discuss all of the beauty products I got, I want to quickly show you all this adorable Coxet Wire Heart Ceramic Jewelry Holder by Imm Living. According to the guide, this piece was named after a geometer who believed that geometry is intrinsically linked to music, so that's an interesting little fact. It's a cute (how many times can I describe something as "cute") household accessory for my jewelry or random knick knacks around the house.

Okay, so finally the majority of the fall box was comprised of beauty products.
(1) Whish Beauty - Renewing Mud Mask - $48 (2) Trestique Matte Colour & Shiny Balm Lip Crayon - $28 (3) Deco Miami Lavender Cuticle Oil - $12.50 (4) Molr Dental Club Organic Carbon + Coconut Teeth Whitening Powder and Toothbrush - $43.95

If you follow me on Instagram or Snapchat, then you know how much I love skincare masks. Whenever I have a day off, I make sure to treat myself to a mask. I'm currently obsessed with a tea-tree mask from Bath and Body Works, but I was so excited when I saw this renewing mud mask in this season's subscription box. This mud mask includes natural ingredients like bentonite clay, aloe, and rosehip oil. It also includes natural enzymes from mushrooms and pineapple and papaya fruit. I'm excited to try it out, so keep up with me on my social media to see my beautiful face covered in mud!
Next is the C+C Whitening Powder and Toothbrush. This whitening powder was one of my other select choices. I was able to choose between the powder or the dpHUE Apple Cider Vinegar Apple Rinse ($35), but I chose the whitening powder because I have wanted to try this type of product out for quite some time. This powder uses activated charcoal that binds to teeth stains and removes them. As well, it reduces cavities, gum disease and bad breath by absorbing the plaque. I got Blake to try this product out with me the first time and it was ... messy. They warn you on the package that it can get messy, but I didn't really understand to what degree. You definitely can't walk around brushing your teeth like one would normally do. We both brushed our teeth first with regular toothpaste and then used the powder afterwards. As expected, our mouths turned black from the charcoal and it's very hard to keep your black saliva from dripping down your face. So we ended up holding our faces over the sink ... which then turned the sink totally black. Luckily it washed out, but not without a tad more scrubbing than normal toothpaste takes. I haven't been using it enough to notice a big difference, but it's fun to use ... especially with Halloween fast approaching.
Continuing... to the Deco Miami Lavender Cuticle Oil. With the drier winter weather slowly creeping upon us, it's important to keep your nails in tiptop healthy condition. This cuticle oil encourages moisturized cuticle beds ... who doesn't want that?
Finally, the last and my favourite product ... Trestique Matte Lip Crayon. I got to select my preferred colour. I'm big into reds and I was hopeful to receive a darker deeper red for the fall season. Therefore, I chose Tuscan Wine over the Florence Fig pink option. Apparently pinker colours are in this fall season, but I prefer bold over subtle. Pink is just too plain for my personal taste. Not only do I love the colour, but it comes with an attached lip balm! If you don't know me, one thing you definitely need to know is that I am addicted to chapstick/lip balms. It is truly an addiction and I go into a form of withdrawal when I go too long without applying it ... or moreso when I know that it isn't a possibility because I've forgotten or lost my chapstick for the millionth time. So I definitely love this product and I love the applicator because the lid is magnetic, so it's so satisfying to click shut. It's truly the little things that make my life grand!
Anyways, that's it for this seasons subscription box. I, again, encourage people to subscribe to this box because it is 100% worth it.
Happy Fall Everybody!
